Create and configure a KPI Dashboard

What you need

• Admin or Manager access rights.

• Web browser or Smart TV (for full-screen display).

• Defined Machine Groups (optional, for grouped data).

General functionalities of the KPI Dashboard

• Live data: The KPIs on the dashboard refreshes automatically.

• Drag & drop: Easily move tiles to customize your layout

• Multiple dashboards: Create separate views for different teams or specific KPIs.
• Targets: Set target values for each KPI/module

• Full-screen mode: Ideal for large monitors on the production floor (connect via HDMI, Smart TV browser, or digital signage tools).

How the KPIs are configured

Modules

Select one or more modules based on your monitoring focus:

Electricity:

• Electricity consumption: Track electricity KPIs over a selected time period.

• Standby consumption: Identify energy waste during idle or machine downtime

• Outside Operating hours: Gain insights into base load and potential leakages (e.g., compressed air).

• Contracted power: Real-time monitoring of your grid connection capacity usage.

• Peak power: Identify which machines contribute most to peak demand charges. 

  

• Energy per unit: Track energy consumption per unit produced (This KPI module is only available in combination with our OEE sensors that count production output.)

Natural gas:

• Gas consumption: Track gas KPIs over time.

Water:

• Water consumption: Add water usage KPIs to your dashboard.

Compressed Air:

• Air consumption: Track air consumption over time

• Pressure

• Efficiency

Available units

• Electricity: kWh (Energy), Costs (based on currency settings), kg CO₂e (emissions).

• Natural gas: All the above units plus Volume (m³).

Data visualization

Customize the view under the Show data setting:

• Per Machine: Displays data separately for each specific asset.

• Per Group: Groups data based on your predefined machine groups.

• As Total: Aggregates all data into a single total value.

Time intervals

• Single Value Options: (Displays one fixed KPI value for the period)

  • Last 60 Minutes, Today So Far, This Week So Far, This Month So Far.

• Multiple Value Options: (Displays trends in a chart)

  • 7 Days: One value per day for the past week.

  • 5 Weeks: One value per week for the past 5 weeks.
